My Specialties
Parenting can be the most challenging part of our lives.
Let Bridge Parenting be the support to get you to the other side!
Disruptive behavior
When children and teenagers don’t listen, we can feel powerless and angry. There are solutions to help kids and teens remember who is in charge.
Parental burnout
Parenting is incredibly difficult and can leave us feeling beat up and drained. We can work together to help you regain enjoyment in being a parent.
Autism Disorder
Families with children with ASD have unique challenges and need different approaches. I have the knowledge and experience to understand this.
Family
conflict
Parents and sibling yelling, kids slamming doors, families not talking. Conflict is miserable and by working together we can change the negative patterns.
Meet Kristen
Kristen has worked with families for the past 17 years. She loves working with families collaboratively and believes that with education, support, and commitment families can change. Parenting can move from feeling exhausting, negative, and burdensome to being a source of joy. In her work, she has seen family relationships transform. During this transformation, individual family members become happier, healthier, and have a greater capacity to face life’s challenges outside of the home.
Kristen has worked with children, adolescents, and parents in school and home settings. She has worked as an advocate for foster care children, academic tutor, behavioral therapist for children with developmental delays and autism spectrum disorder, and currently works as a child and family therapist in addition to being a parent coach. She has a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Pacific University.
